Candy Box Jumbo Jelly Drops

This brightly colored card board display box dates from the 1920’s and originally held five pounds of Stacy’s Jumbo Jelly Drops, a candy manufactured by the O. T. Stacy Company in Rochester, NY. It is decorated in cobalt blue, lavender, and orange with a faux ribbon and bow on the lid and an orange and white checkerboard pattern on the edges. I was not able to find out much about these candies, they sound like they were large gum drops. The box measures 10 1/4″ wide by 7″ tall by 3″ deep and is in excellent condition with great color and only minor edge wear and staining. 8710-31TP
