This neat hanging advertising sign dates from the early Victorian era and features a young lad offering chocolate cigarettes to two young girls on the sidewalk. The girls look to be taking a break from hoop rolling, dressed in period correct clothing. The young boy has a chocolate cigarette in his mouth and is holding a pack of “A No. 1” brand chocolate cigarettes in his right hand. At the top of this heavy paper advertising it states “Chocolate Cigarettes 3 for One Cent” just below a hole in the top made for hanging. This sign is in great shape and very colorful with just some minor edge wear due to the age. The back is blank and is an off white color. It measures 8.5 inches wide and 8.5 inches tall.
