Due to its design, collectors call this standing pole sign a “Lollipop” sign, and it was used in a school zone to warn drivers to slow down and be aware of schoolchildren. Many people see the Coca-Cola policeman school sign, but this one is rare because it was produced in smaller numbers. “Drink Coca-Cola” is in white letters on the iconic red background, with minor scratches along the outer edge and some touch-up along the upper edge. It is around 12 to 2 o’clock, if you look at the sign as a clock dial. It has a curved dent in the lower middle as well. The “School Slow” side is in black letters on a yellow background. The letters on this side have been replaced with newer vinyl letters and graphics. Light scratches are on the letters and the sign. The metal ring, pole, and base are original, but have been repainted to provide a bright contrast to any setting. Minor scratches are on the base from moving. The total height of this sign is 63 inches. The top of the ring measures 28.25 inches wide, with the base being 22 inches across.
