Still in business today, Star Manufacturing Company was founded in 1921, and became a leading supplier of a wide range of restaurant equipment, including this cool Display Warmer! Three sides of the warmer read “Star Hot Peanuts” on porcelain with a glass area below. The fourth side is also porcelain, but reads “Star Display Warmer, and opens from the top to access the heating element. The top is glass and also has a hinge so a customer or store clerk can easily open the warmer and scoop out fresh hot peanuts ready to enjoy. The warmer is in excellent shape, with some minor chips in the outer edges of the porcelain. Some small chips can be seen on the outer edges of the top glass and may have been replaced over the years. For the condition, this machine is a testament to workmanship a century ago.
